Colorful, lively Hermes H08. The Hermes H08, designed by Hermes Watch Creative Director Philippe Delotal in 2021, has a unique shape combining a square bezel and a circular dial in a cushion-type case with Arabic numerals in a unique font, establishing itself as a watch representing Hermes at the same time as its debut. This year, Hermes H08 gave variations in various colors. A total of four colors, orange, yellow, green, and blue, are applied to the minute track, second hand, and strap, creating a strong contrast with the monotone case, bezel, and crown. The edge of the sapphire crystal glass on the front of the dial also has a point color added. The cushion-type case with a unique pattern is made of a synthetic block material mixed with aluminized glass fiber and slate powder, making it lightweight and sturdy. The bezel is made of black ceramic with a pre-brushed process to enhance the texture, and the crown is polished to a glossy finish. The surface of the dial has a rough texture that looks like dark gray concrete, creating an interplay of light and shadow. The case diameter is 39mm, the self-winding movement H1837 is mounted, and the rubber strap with Hermes’ unique structural weave is matched.
