Dividends 2021: SOLIBRA pampers its shareholders

The Société de Limonaderie et Brasseries d’Afrique (Solibra) continues to sparkle despite the divorce between Coca Cola and Castel, its parent company. As proof, the company based in Côte d’Ivoire will pay its shareholders on August 12, 2022, for the 2021 financial year, an overall net dividend of 6.666 billion FCFA (10.666 million dollars).

Compared to the 1,646,084 shares that make up the company’s share capital, the net dividend per share amounts to 4,050 FCFA against 2,736 FCFA in 2020, an increase of 1,314 FCFA. The dividend to be paid on August 12 represents 162% (against 109.44% in 2020) of the nominal value of the share which is 2,500 FCFA.

SOLIBRA had an excellent 2021 financial year with increases in its management balances of between 20 and over 30%. This is how profit after tax stood at 22.020 billion FCFA, up 26% compared to 2020. Turnover, for its part, increased by 30.48% to 299.269 billion. of FCFA against 229.359 billion FCFA as of December 31, 2020.

The added value of Solibra had recorded an increase of 20% with an achievement of 89 billion FCFA against 74.187 billion FCFA in 2020. The same upward trend had characterized the gross operating surplus which had increased by 21% to 61.158 billion FCFA against 50.621 billion FCFA as of December 31, 2020.

As for the operating result, it had increased by 30% with an achievement which rose from 27.415 billion FCFA on December 31, 2020 to 35.605 billion FCFA a year later.
