Doctors in Yekaterinburg spoke about the well-being of children who were in an apartment with dead parents – March 16, 2023

The children who sat in the apartment with their dead parents are in a stable condition. About this with reference to the doctors of the children’s hospital № 11 In Ekaterinburg informs portal E1.RU.

The boy and girl were admitted to the hospital on Wednesday, March 15, around 17:00 hours (15:00 Moscow time). At the moment, according to the source, both are under medical supervision, receive food and care.

Ombudsman for Children’s Rights Igor Morokov said that relatives had already expressed a desire to take the children for themselves. This should not be a problem, he said.

Neighbors of the victims said that their grandmother, aunt and uncle are ready to pick up the kids. The relatives had warm relations with the parents of the boy and the girl. Just last Saturday they met in this apartment.

Recall that a two-year-old boy and his younger sister were found in an apartment on Taganskaya Street in Yekaterinburg. Nearby lay the corpses of their parents. The alarm was sounded by neighbors downstairs when water began to flow from the ceiling. At the door of the apartment, where a leak might have occurred, they heard a loud cry of a child and called emergency services. Since the police and rescuers were not driving, the men opened the door themselves. The children were taken out of the apartment and handed over to the doctors in a very bad condition. Presumably, the couple died from a drug overdose. Law enforcement officers found a suspicious powder in the apartment.
