Dodik follows the Kremlin model against journalists and NGOs – Bosnia-Herzegovina

Despite criticism from legal experts, the parliament of the Bosnian region of Republika Srpska (RS) has voted to impose severe penalties on the offense of defamation. Media representatives see this as an attempt to silence critics. The Bosnian part of the RS is shaped by the right-wing, secessionist politics of the SNSD party, led by the Kremlin friend and President of the RS, Milorad Dodik.
