Al-Marsad newspaper: Dr. Fahad Al-Khudairi, a specialist in research in carcinogens, revealed a wrong behavior that puts a diabetic into a coma.
Al-Khudairi said, in a tweet via his Twitter account: “Some patients with type 1 diabetes or their families make the mistake of giving them a rapid insulin injection minutes before breakfast.”
He explained: “This may cause a diabetic coma, or he may not be able to eat for certain circumstances, so he falls into a coma, so beware of that and the dose is not given until following making sure that he ate dates, so he takes them during or during breakfast and not before.”
