A few days from the Christmasthe products that make up the Christmas basket – panettone, milk, chocolate bars, sugar, rice, oil, sparkling liquor, canned peaches and noodles – together maintain an approximate price of S/64.00 in the Caquetá wholesale market, thus rising by S/10 00, since in 2021 this amount was between S/54.00 and S/61.00, according to a tour carried out by a team from La República.
In addition, each of these foods presents a variation of between S/1.00 to S/3.00 compared to last year. In detail, the panettone, which previously cost S/21.00, is now at S/23.50. Canned milk is sold for S/3.60 and chocolate bars from S/1.20 to S/1.50, before they might be bought for up to S/1.00.
