Prostate cancer is the leading cancer in men in terms of incidence. Next to 60,000 new cases are diagnosed each year in France and this is the 3rd cancer in men in terms of mortality.
6 stage cities
For its 8th tour to meet the general public, the Janssen prostate bus will stop in 6 cities between September and November 2023.
Here are the dates and cities:
• Caen : September 15.
• Paris : September 18 and 14 number.
• Lorient : September 23.
• Toulouse : November 4 and 5.
• Jossigny : 10 November.
• Nice : November 25th.
Visit a giant prostate
During its traveling tour, the prostate bus will offer visitors the opportunity to discover a giant inflatable prostate 3 meters high and 5 meters long. It will allow visitors to understand theinteraction of the prostate with its surroundingsto see his transformation in the case of cancer, to understand the risks of sexual sequelae following treatment.
Urologists, oncologists, nurses, sexologists and patient associations will be present to answer questions from the general public. Also available to the latter, a PROSTAR10 questionnaire, brochures to better understand fatigue, pain, urinary disorders…
