Orlando (Florida) – In the face of Disney World’s criticism of its ultra-conservative policies, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis wants to have the Orlando amusement park revoked its right to self-government. Speaking at a Florida Congressional District Reform session, DeSantis said Congressmen would now “consider the termination of all special districts that were enacted in Florida before 1968 — and that includes the Reedy Creek Improvement District.”
