Dramatic Survival Story: Danish Family’s Ordeal in Fallen Gondola

2024-01-13 18:19:27

There was a Danish family in the fallen gondola: Sophia (19), Daniel (20), father Michael (49) and uncle Peder (44). While Sophia escaped with a broken bone in her eye socket and a fractured vertebra, her brother Daniel is much worse off: He suffered four fractures in his back and two under his right eye, as well as a cerebral hemorrhage. As a result of the latter, he suffered several strokes, which in turn affected his memory. He can’t remember the accident or that anyone was sitting at his bedside.
