Vienna – Anyone who often has to do with the regional court for criminal matters in Vienna knows the first of five accused in a jury trial at least by sight. The 38-year-old worked for months as a domestic worker. All this as a release from Simmering Prison, where the Serb was serving a seven-year sentence for violating the Narcotics Act. Why is he back in the “Gray House” with an indictment? Because he, like his four co-defendants, is said to be involved in a deal for 6.6 kilograms of cocaine, the prosecutor claims – arranged while he was cleaning the ashtrays in the smoking aisle in the regional court.
