DUBAI, 16th April, 2020 (WAM) — Today, Dubai Municipality launched a number of entertainment activities in preparation for Eid Al Fitr, which will continue until April 24, in the Grand Market in Deira.
The event aims to promote the content and products of the traditional markets, preserve the heritage and authenticity of the ancient customs and preparations for Eid, as well as support the merchants in those markets.
Mansour Al Rayes, Acting Director of the Architectural Heritage and Antiquities Department at Dubai Municipality, said that Dubai Municipality is keen to hold events that enhance the heritage and customs of the Emirate of Dubai and its authenticity and reflect the status of the heritage markets, noting that the event will include live performances, events and public and entertainment services.
