London (AP) – Duchess Kate is spending her 40th birthday this Sunday with the family. The German press agency learned this from palace circles.
The Duchess of Cambridge has earned a reputation among the British as a conscientious, always cautious representative of the royal family and is now in third place on the popularity scale of the still living royals behind Queen Elizabeth II (95) and her husband Prince William (39).
Whether in a glamorous evening dress at a gala or romping around with her three children George (8), Charlotte (6) and Louis (3) – Catherine Middleton, as her real name is, always cuts a perfect figure. Recently she even surprised visitors to a Christmas concert with an interlude at the piano alongside Scottish pop star Tom Walker.
The Queen also recently expressed her praise at her Christmas address for the “admirable support” her grandson William received from Kate in his work for climate protection.
