Concert of bombardes, bagpipes, oboes, organ and songs by the Duo Gatté. This original duo, composed of Marie Gatté-Stoffel and Dominique Gatté, will perform a varied repertoire, from Bach to popular Christmas carols, traveling through Brittany, Burgundy, Germany and England, and of course passing through through Alsace. Bombardes, oboes, bagpipes and singing will interact with the organ for this concert of traditional Christmas tunes. Marie Gatté-Stoffel studied piano and organ at the Strasbourg Conservatory then perfected her advanced studies at the CNSMD in Paris, in writing and pianoforte. Dominique Gatté began traditional music with the bombarde and the biniou then turned to medieval music as a singer, and as a researcher for the Medieval Musicology Association where he works for the European project “Repertorium”.
