Vienna/Gaziantep/Idlib – What do those affected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkey do who no longer have any documents or are injured, but want to apply for a visa for Austria? Chancellor Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) has ruled out visa facilitation. This means that interested parties in Turkey still have to go to Ankara, Antalya or Istanbul; Syrians have to go to Beirut. There should now be support from external visa service providers for Turkish injuries.
