Asunción, IP Agency.- The Minister of Economy and Finance, Carlos Fernández Valdovinos, highlighted that the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) assumes the commitment that the resources for the National Cancer Institute (INCAN) are committed for this year; That is, they are planned to be executed in their entirety.

“The resources planned for this year will be executed 100%, something that, in general, not all institutions have the resources to execute 100%, and logically that gives people peace of mind; “We understand very well the situation they and their families are going through,” he said.

Accompanied by the Vice Minister of Financial Administration, Oscar Lovera, he met this Thursday with the Minister of Public Health, María Teresa Barán, representatives of Associations and unions related to patients suffering from cancer, as well as cancer patients to discuss the budget commitment for the National Cancer Institute (INCAN).

At the end of the meeting held at the Ministry of Health, Fernández Valdovinos also reported that the commitment will be expressed in a document signed by him, as an authority of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in such a way as to generate peace of mind for people who suffer from the disease. their families.
