The year 2023 has not been easy for Edmilson Junior. But the former Standard player is relieved: the injury that kept him on the sidelines seems to be behind him.

The cause was an injury to the malleolus which kept him sidelined for the first time before completely taking him out of the team. After two operations, he is finally back.
On his social networks, the 29-year-old from Liège published a photo of his return to training with the group. Enough to allow him to finally combine with the club’s star recruit this summer, a certain Philippe Coutinho.
