Egypt expects to produce 6 trillion cubic feet of new gas wells

Egyptian Minister of Petroleum, Tariq Al-Mulla, confirmed to Sky News Arabia today, Thursday, that he expects the production capacity of new exploration wells for natural gas that Egypt intends to drill will reach at least six trillion cubic feet.

Egypt has started a $1.8 billion program to drill exploration wells for natural gas in the Mediterranean and the Nile Delta, in cooperation with Eni, Chevron, Exxon Mobil, Shell and BP.
