Social media users circulated a video of Egyptian citizens trying to deliver aid to the besieged people of the Gaza Strip through the border fence.
In the video, which was filmed from the Palestinian side, dozens of citizens gathered at the border fence separating Egypt and the Gaza Strip, while Egyptians from Sinai were extending wires from electricity generators they had brought to the border, in addition to water and food containers.
Pictures and videos showed tents of displaced Palestinians in the southern Gaza Strip, meters away from the border fence.
One of the clips received widespread interaction on social media, and many praised the move.
500 meters from the border fence between Gaza and Egypt, many Palestinian families pitched their tents on the sand, seeking shelter from the ongoing Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip.
