Electric end of match between the Netherlands and Argentina: a general fight breaks out (VIDEO)

With this breathtaking suspense, the end of the match was electric. As we entered stoppage time in the game, Leandro Paredes made a big foul on Nathan Aké just in front of the Dutch bench who rose in one man towards the former PSG player. All the players rushed towards him and a fight broke out. Virgil van Dijk notably kicked an Argentinian player. Finally, apart from Paredes who was yellowed, all the players got away with it without warning.

After the whistle signaling the end of the 90 minutes, new altercations took place between the players. Argentinian coach Lionel Scaloni, unhappy with the stoppages granted (10 minutes), also rushed to the referee, pointing at him.

The match was tense until the end with many yellow cards… even during the penalty shoot-out…
