Electro-Solar Boat Successfully Completes 2023 Season: Friborg Tourism Region Announces Exciting Updates for 2024

The electro-solar boat sailing on Lake Schiffenen has successfully completed its 2023 season. In a press release, Friborg tourism region indicates that 3,130 passengers from French-speaking Switzerland and elsewhere were able to board the D’Grandfey. Which represents an occupancy rate of 90%.

Some 4,000 kilometers were covered and 150 private races were offered. This season was also marked by thematic cruises, including a night race on the evening of August 1st. Visitors were able to discover the Hermitage de la Madeleine and the castles of Barberêche. This project is proposed in collaboration with Guin Tourisme and the Schiffenen campsite.
