Elon Musk decides to lay off 10% of “Tesla” employees… and stop hiring

He decided Tesla CEO Elon Musklaying off 10% of the company’s employees and halting recruitment, according to Archyde.com.

Musk told his employees in an email that he had a very bad feeling regarding the economy.

In another context, Musk predicted that the electric car company may have a prototype of a humanoid robot known as Optimus within months.

Optimus was first introduced in August of 2021, and is a human-sized robot, 173 cm long, 57 kg in weight, and a carrying capacity of 20 kg.

It will be controlled by the same artificial intelligence systems that Tesla uses in its cars.

Musk expects to be able to perform normal tasks such as grocery shopping, saying that Tesla cars are semi-conscious robots on wheels.
