Elon Musk’s positions, the main reason for reselling his Tesla according to a survey

The American analysis agency Bloomberg has conducted a new survey of 5,000 Tesla Model 3 owners. The results are surprising and, above all, they have evolved significantly since the last survey carried out by Bloomberg in 2019. In this new survey, we learns that the main reason why some Tesla owners have sold their cars is the disapproval of Elon Musk, the brand’s big boss. This reason is cited at 21.5%, just ahead of concerns regarding quality and service (18.7%), as well as disappointments regarding Tesla’s brand image (17.8%).

It looks like Elon Musk is hurting his own brand… – Bloomberg’s 2023 Tesla Owners Survey

“Musk needs to stop tweeting”

For the majority of respondents, Musk’s takeover of Twitter – rebranded as “X” – is not a positive development. Worse, respondents believe that this takeover has diverted too much attention from Elon Musk and that this is detrimental to Tesla. The billionaire’s public statements greatly disturb a large majority of participants in this survey.

96% of Tesla owners who have a positive opinion of Musk say they will buy a Tesla, while 91% who have a negative opinion of the businessman say they will not buy Tesla in the future. Moral: Elon Musk is doing a lot of damage to his brand when, however, the majority of Tesla Model 3 owners say they are satisfied with the car.
