Arrivals at tourist accommodation in Greece reached 2,681,760 last October and overnight stays at 10,675,469, marking an increase compared to the corresponding month of 2022, by 11.3% in arrivals and by 8.3% in overnight stays, according to her data ELSTAT.
This results from the temporary monthly data on the movement of hotel-type tourist accommodation, camping and short-stay collective accommodation (rooms for rent), published by ELSTAT.
Also, according to newsit, there was an increase in the arrivals and overnight stays of foreigners by 12.8% and 8.6%, respectively, as well as an increase in the arrivals and overnight stays of nationals by 6.9% and 6.4%, respectively.
Foreigners contributed the most to arrivals and overnight stays in total accommodation, with 75.9% and 86.3%, respectively. While, the average total overnight stay amounted to 4 days.
