An official source at EgyptAir stated that the company’s flight No. MS905, model B737-800, which was heading from Cairo International Airport to Dubai Airport, carrying 120 passengers, made an emergency landing at Dammam International Airport due to a sudden technical malfunction.
The company said, in a statement, that the pilot of the plane requested permission to land at Dammam International Airport, in order to ensure the safety of passengers and in accordance with international standards. All passengers were disembarked at Dammam Airport until the completion of the examination and inspection of the plane and the completion of technical procedures.
For its part, the company prepared another plane heading from Cairo International Airport to Dammam Airport to transport passengers of flight MS905 from Dammam to Dubai.
