Emirates Cycling Team set to compete at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou

Dubai, September 20 / WAM / The cycling team delegation will depart tomorrow, Thursday, for China to participate in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, which began today, Wednesday, and will conclude next October 8.
The delegation includes 7 riders, namely Ahmed Al Mansouri (Aluminum track race), and participating in the road race are Jaber Al Mansouri, Saif Al Kaabi, Abdullah Al Hammadi, and Abdullah Jassim, in addition to Safia Al Sayegh and Zahra Hussein. The team is led by Yousef Mirza, technical director, and Badr Thani, coach. Hamad Al-Taniji, administrator, and masseur John Sarjid.
Mansour Bouasiba, President of the Emirates Cycling Federation, confirmed that the team is participating in the tournament in search of a new achievement, following the achievements achieved in the past period.
He added: “The team went through a good preparation period, which began before last Ramadan, in Spain and Italy, and then participated in a number of tournaments, to confirm its full readiness for the competitions.
