ABU DHABI, 6th September, 2020 (WAM) — The General Civil Aviation Authority announced that the glider accident that occurred last Sunday morning in the Margham area of ​​Dubai did not take place in the facilities of the Skydive Dubai Club, and the club, its locations or operations are not related to the crash of the plane.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation – in a clarification issued today – stated that investigations are still ongoing to find out the causes of the accident.

The authority offered its sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased pilot.
