In this regard, the Department of Administrative Affairs implemented the “Adapted Inspection Umbrella” initiative at the Hatta border post and made updates to the area designated for vehicle inspection, as it was fully adapted to accommodate approximately 6 cars distributed on 3 lanes at peak time to smooth the procedures process.

In-port inspections.

Engineer Khawla Al Sulais, Director of Administrative Affairs Department at Dubai Customs, said that the “Adapted Inspection Umbrella” initiative aims to improve the work environment and focus on employee and customer happiness together, which positively results in increasing productivity at work in addition to maintaining the smooth flow of buses and cars through the Hatta port. frontier.

Al-Sulais pointed out that the process of implementing the air-conditioned inspection canopy took 45 days, and the canopy included insulators and air curtains to prevent the entry of hot air to it, while separating cold air from hot air coming from outside the canopy, through an automatic control device to close and open the electronic doors of the tracks.
