Emirates News Agency – European shares rise in early trading

ABU DHABI, July 28 / WAM / European stock market indices rose in early trading today, tracking the strong gains in the US Wall Street Stock Exchange last night.

The European “Stoxx 600” index rose 0.48%, equivalent to 2.06 points, to reach the level of 430.18 points, and the “Euro Stoxx 50” index rose 0.48%, equivalent to 16.93 points, to reach 3624.71 points, according to European markets data.

The French “CAC 40” index rose by 34.51 points, or 0.58%, to reach 6294.42 points, and the German “Dax” index grew by 0.16%, equivalent to 19.12 points, to reach the level of 13185.96 points.

The British “FTSE 100” index rose by 0.01%, equivalent to 0.91 points, to reach the level of 7349.14 points.
