Emirates News Agency – European stock indices rise

ABU DHABI, July 27 / WAM / European stock market indices rose during today’s trading, with companies continuing to disclose their profits for the first half of this year.

The European “Stoxx 600” index rose by 0.38%, equivalent to 1.63 points, to reach the level of 27,427.76 points, and the “Euro Stoxx 50” index increased by 0.61%, equivalent to 21.69 points, to reach 3,596.95 points, according to European markets data.

The French “CAC 40” index increased by 25.24 points, or 0.41%, to reach 6236.69 points, and the German “Dax” index grew by 0.2%, equivalent to 26.88 points, to reach the level of 13123.81 points.

The British FTSE 100 index rose 0.49%, or 35.44 points, to reach the level of 7,342.04 points.

Today, financial markets around the world are awaiting the decisions of the US Federal Reserve regarding interest rates.
