Emirates News Agency – Gold gains $3.7 in spot trading, and contracts are declining

Capitals on December 30 / WAM / International gold prices rose during today’s trading, gaining $3.7 in spot trading, while contracts fell for the second consecutive session.
And the prices of the yellow metal increased in spot transactions by 0.2%, or the equivalent of $ 3.72, to reach $ 1818.71 an ounce, according to global market data, by “09:53 am UAE time.”
On the other hand, gold futures contracts for February delivery 2023 fell for the second consecutive session, by 0.02%, equivalent to $0.45, to reach $1825.6 an ounce.
In terms of other precious metals, silver decreased by 0.16% to $24.23 an ounce, platinum increased by 0.67% to $1074.7, while palladium fell 0.47% to $1809.5.
