Capitals, October 18 / WAM / Global gold prices rose during today’s trading, gaining more than $8.
According to global market data, the prices of the yellow metal increased in spot transactions by 0.49%, or the equivalent of $8.17, to reach $1658.85 per ounce, by “08:32 AM UAE time”.
While the gold futures contract for December delivery decreased by 0.02%, equivalent to $0.25, to reach $1,663.75 per ounce.
On the level of other precious metals, silver rose 0.69% to $ 18.84 an ounce, while platinum rose 0.74% to $ 922.7, and palladium increased by 1.52% to $ 2022.
