Ramallah, January 12/WAM/ The Israeli Ministry of Health announced today that 43,815 new cases of the new Corona virus were recorded, the highest daily toll monitored since the outbreak of the epidemic in Israel in March 2020.
And the ministry revealed that the active infections rose to 222,877, bringing the cumulative total of Corona injuries in the country to 1,622,053 injuries, while the total deaths reached 8,274 deaths.
The Ministry of Health said that regarding 781 people, including 254 in serious condition, 84 in critical condition, 63 injured were connected to artificial respirators, and 12 cases were linked to the “Ecmo” device to support respiratory functions.
Official data showed that the education system recorded 73,550 students infected with Corona, while 98,285 students were subjected to quarantine, following the discovery of infections in classrooms and educational institutions.
