LONDON, 10 September / WAM / Today, he officially announced the inauguration of “Charles III” as King of Britain, succeeding his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who died yesterday, Thursday.
During an official ceremony, Charles III was sworn in as King of Great Britain, Northern Ireland and other territories at St James’s Palace in central London in front of the Royal Inauguration Council, which includes former prime ministers, members of the Privy Council and the King’s advisors.
King Charles III reiterated that he would devote the remainder of his life to serving his country from this position.
A series of different royal ceremonies will continue in the coming days until the completion of the funeral ceremonies for the late Queen’s body.
