ABU DHABI, 9th July, WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, directed the allocation of $25 million to support Al-Makassed Hospital in East Jerusalem to expand the scope of its medical services to the brotherly Palestinian people.
This support comes as part of the UAE’s continuous efforts to support the capabilities of Palestinian health institutions and meet the requirements of the brotherly Palestinian people in the humanitarian, living, health, social, educational and other fields.
It is noteworthy that Al-Makassed Hospital, which was founded in 1968, is considered one of the most important hospitals in Jerusalem, and it operates within the network of East Jerusalem hospitals with 250 beds. It specializes in conducting heart and orthopedic operations, children and medical research, in addition to comprehensive health care.
