Emirates News Agency – The National Institute for Health Specialties is known for its accreditation policies and requirements

Al Ain, September 8 / WAM / The National Institute for Health Specialties organized a meeting to present a comprehensive introductory presentation to the faculty members at Tawam Hospital, which included the strategic vision on which the Institute was founded as a national institution charged with leading and organizing the professional development of the health workforce in the country, with a special focus on training Specialist.

During the presentation, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hawqani, Secretary-General of the National Institute for Health Specialties, stressed the importance of reviewing and adhering to policies and requirements for accreditation to improve the quality of medical education.

He explained that this meeting comes within the framework of the efforts exerted and the action plan to raise the scientific and professional level of doctors and health professions in various specialties, in cooperation with educational institutions and bodies and medical and health organizations inside and outside the country.

During the meeting, he reviewed the E-Services provided by the Institute, including workshops to prepare residents and develop the skills of faculty members in the field of tests and evaluation, as well as institutional accreditation services and specialized program accreditation, in addition to field visits to ensure their compliance with accreditation standards, with the aim of encouraging workers in The health sector to continue their professional career towards postgraduate studies in specialized health fields.

At the end of the meeting, 10 resident faculty members at Tawam Hospital who were accredited by the National Institute for Health Specialties were honored following passing the prescribed courses.
