SHARJAH, 20th March / WAM / Ibrahim Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Astronomy Society, member of the Arab Federation for Astronomy and Space Sciences, said that the spring season begins tomorrow astronomically in the Emirates, as the sun sets at 01:25 following midnight UAE time on March 21, 2023 (UTC). At 21:25 on March 20, 2023) at the point of the vernal solar equinox and perpendicular to the equator, heading towards the Tropic of Cancer in the north.
He explained that the sun begins at perpendicular to the southern outskirts of the Arabian Peninsula between April 24 to August 20, and reaches its destination in the north on June 21/22, with the summer solstice.
