Emirati-Cuban Business Council: Opening new channels for cooperation and investment opportunities

The Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry signed, via video technology, a memorandum of understanding with the Cuban Chamber of Commerce regarding establishing a joint Emirati-Cuban Business Council.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Secretary-General of the Federation of Chambers, Hamid Mohammed bin Salem, and the Secretary-General of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, Omar Fernandez.

The step aims to find mechanisms for cooperation between the Emirates Chambers and the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, as well as developing cooperation mechanisms between commercial activities, by introducing investment opportunities and commercial offers available in the sectors of agriculture, industry, health, tourism, renewable energy, real estate and technology. This step also contributes to opening Channels for direct communication between business owners in the two countries.
