En+ and Rusal launched the fifth season of the scholarship program for the 2025–2026 academic year

Breaking News: En+ and Rusal Expand Scholarship Program for 2025-2026 Academic Year

June 25, 2025 — In a significant move to support education and foster talent in key sectors, En+ and Rusal have launched the fifth season of their scholarship program for the 2025-2026 academic year. This year, the program is set to reach a record scale, encompassing students from 58 institutions of higher and secondary vocational education across 23 cities.

Record Expansion and Enhanced Opportunities

The scholarship program has grown significantly over the years. In its fifth season, it will include students studying “Energetics,” “Metallurgy,” “Medicine,” “Pedagogy,” and more. The program aims to provide financial support and professional development opportunities, ensuring students are well-prepared for their future careers.

“The scholarship program begins its fifth season, and every year the number of applications is growing. Young people show interest in the profession, we try to create the opportunity for them to learn and grow. It is important for us to involve the scholarships in the life of the company, so that, having come to the first work after the university, they never hear ‘forget everything that you were taught, I will tell you everything now.’ Therefore, we support the guys not only financially, but already during their studies, giving access to the best practices and communicating with the already held professionals. The program is developing, this year we have added new educational institutions and cities,” said Natalya Albrecht, Deputy General Director for Human Resources at En+ Rusal.

Financial Support and Professional Development

The scholarship amounts to up to 15,000 rubles per month for college and technical school students and up to 25,000 rubles for university students. Additionally, the program offers opportunities for professional development, including participation in conferences, internships, and access to a profile electronic library.

Support from Educational Institutions and Students

Educational institutions and students alike have expressed their enthusiasm for the program. Mikhail Kornyakov, rector of the Irkutsk National Research Technical University, noted, “We are always interested in participating in all the initiatives of En+ and Rusal, since colleagues monitor modern trends in the field of science, education, and new technologies. The scholarship program is an initiative that is really useful for companies, and universities, and students.”

Marina Semenova, director of the Krasnoyarsk Industrial and Metallurgical Technical School, added, “This is an excellent motivation for good performance and an additional incentive to connect your professional life with the metallurgical industry. Such tight cooperation between the technical school and companies brings significant results: the successful employment of our graduates and the set of students to our technical school.”

Student Testimonials

Students have also shared their positive experiences with the program. Dmitry Islamov, a twice scholarship recipient, said, “For me, this is not only a scholarship but also a good opportunity to actively participate in various professional championships and achieve success. I gained access to the educational platform of Rusal and En+, where I could take courses for the development of my Soft Skills and gain additional skills.”

Valery Yurovskaya, a leading engineer at EN+ Generation, shared her inspiring journey, “I graduated from the undergraduate program of the Bratsk State University in the direction of ‘Teploenergetics and Heat Engineering,’ and today, thanks to the scholarship program, I am finishing the magistracy of Irnita and already working in the company. I want to wish the guys and girls not to give up. In training and in professional activities, show perseverance and go to your goal. Then everything will work out for sure.”
