End of season for Edwin Jackson, right leg injury

Another blow for Edwin Jackson, pursued by bad luck for two years. Injured in the right leg, the French rear of Estudiantes Madrid (32) will have to have surgery and put an end to his season.

Jackson returned to the Spanish club during the 2019-2020 season, shortly before the start of the health crisis, following his tumultuous departure from Asvel. Last year, he only played 11 matches due to a wrist injury and his team was relegated to D2.

Captain of Estudiantes, the French hoped to lead the Madrid formation to the rise in the elite. He averaged 8.6 pts before his injury. He joins his compatriot Darel Poirier in the infirmary, also unavailable for the rest of the season due to a ruptured Achilles tendon.
