End of second season for Luiz Araujo (ex-LOSC) at Atlanta United

Left in August 2021 to know the American championship, in the Atlanta United club, the former Lille resident Luiz Araujo has just ended his second season with the team.

The 2022 MLS season has just ended for Atlanta United, with a 1-2 loss to New York City. A season to forget for the Georgia State club which finished 11th with a record of 10 wins, 10 draws and 14 losses. However, Luiz Araujo had a decent year given the performance of his team. Having been sidelined for 1 month at the start of the season, the Brazilian striker finished with a total of 5 goals and 4 assists in 28 competitive games. This is his first full season in MLS.

However, the winger had a more complicated end to the season, as did his team, since he has not been decisive since August 18 once morest New York Red Bull, a match during which he provided an assist. The former Mastiff now has a few weeks of rest ahead of him before resuming competition, hoping for him that Atlanta will have a better season next year.
