Energie AG lowers electricity price and averts legal dispute

300,000 existing customers will receive between 25 and 100 euros back from Energie AG (EAG) by the end of August, so to speak as compensation for the price increase in January. This is the result of an out-of-court settlement with the Upper Austrian Chamber of Labour. The state supplier thus avoids a lengthy procedure that would have required provisions in the hundreds of millions.
