Thursday, August 3, the Pougétois had the choice between two events, the petanque of the Joyful bohemians or the tastings of the local market, recommended by the municipality of Pouget. At 4:00 p.m., the 32 registered players in the scrimmage bowls contest had played their three games. After an aperitif to celebrate the victories (and the defeats!), the participants found themselves at the table to consume an excellent macaronade prepared by Gilles Prongue, president of the club. A little later, on the Place du Griffe, a hundred onlookers arrived to taste the dishes made available by the exhibitors: shellfish, cheeses, cooked dishes… As well as wine merchants offering white, rosé and red wines. An animation was also planned by the West Indian group the Wopos.
