The reporter learned at noon that the Beijing college entrance examination papers have been safely transported to the examination areas. In 2023, a total of more than 58,000 candidates in Beijing will sign up for the college entrance examination. There are 18 test areas, 100 test sites and 2029 test rooms in the city.
The Beijing Educational Examination Institute stated that it will take multiple measures this year to ensure the quality and safety of the test questions, and continue to strengthen the qualification review and safety and confidentiality education for the test-entry personnel; the whole process of entry will be adopted, and armed police soldiers will be responsible for the security of the entry places. Mobile phone “can’t be brought in, can’t be used, can’t be transferred”
It is a highlight of this year’s examination work to carry out special treatment to prevent mobile phone cheating. Through the combination of human defense, physical defense and technical defense, it is realized that mobile phones and other communication equipment cannot be brought in, used, or transmitted during the college entrance examination. The education department insists on moving the checkpoints forward, educating candidates to consciously resist violations and cheating, and consciously not to bring mobile phones into the test center; at the same time, strictly organize two security checks in the test center, and implement smart security gates and test center radio signals (including 5G signals) to shield full coverage.
