ABU DHABI, 9th August, 2020 (WAM) — The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City has called for the need to provide the best health and operational requirements and standards for public swimming pools, with the aim of protecting the health and safety of community members.
In the guideline for operating public swimming pools, the municipality stressed the importance of taking care of swimming pools, paying attention to their cleanliness, promoting a healthy environment that guarantees the safety of the visitors of these pools, and providing the necessary requirements for licensing them, noting that it closely monitors the health requirements of workers in the pools through periodic inspection campaigns aimed at Ensure that they obtain a health fitness certificate proving that they are free from infectious diseases, as well as check the water, the validity of the swimming pool and its compliance with the requirements in force in Abu Dhabi, and check the water temperature, its acidity level, and the rates of use of disinfectants within safe limits.
The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City attaches great importance to the requirements of people of determination when they go to public swimming pools.
