Some mobile phones launched by Xiaomi in recent years will only be sold in the Chinese market, and some models are mainly for overseas markets. The Xiaomi Mi 12T Pro, which was released by the German website WinFuture yesterday, belongs to the latter. The back design of the new phone is similar to that of Xiaomi Mi 12, and it also uses photography as its main selling point, but there is no Leica certification.
The first Xiaomi phone with a 200-megapixel camera
The Xiaomi Mi 12T Pro has a triple-lens camera, including a 200MP main camera with an F/1.69 aperture. It is temporarily uncertain whether it is equipped with optical shock resistance. This will be Xiaomi’s first mobile phone to provide a 200-megapixel camera. The sensor used may be Samsung HP1, the same as the Moto X30 Pro announced earlier. The other two lenses are 8MP ultra-wide-angle and 2MP macro, and are equipped with a 20MP front selfie lens.
It is rumored that it will be listed on the European market within a month.
In terms of other specifications, the Mi 12T Pro is equipped with a 6.67-inch flat screen with a resolution of 2,712 x 1,220, supports a 120Hz update rate, is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, has a built-in 5,000mAh battery, supports 120W wired charging, but does not support wireless charging. WinFuture indicates that the Xiaomi Mi 12T Pro will be released in Europe as soon as September, and the rumored price is 850 euros (equivalent to HK$6,683).
