Exactly 30 years ago, the Steyrdorf Gallery was launched on Sierningerstraße in Steyr. At that time, its founder Erich Fröschl was almost a blank slate in Steyr. Before that, he had been on artistic journeys for too long. After stays in Northern Italy and Venice, he was initially drawn to the Summer Academy in Salzburg, where he was able to breathe the spirit of Oskar Kokoschka.
