Ernakulam Maharaja’s College Violence: Updates on Arrests and Closure of College

Kochi: After the violence at Ernakulam Maharaja’s College, the accused in the violence at the General Hospital will be arrested soon. The central police registered a case once morest 35 people including SFI workers under the Hospital Protection Act, including obstructing the doctor’s duties.

The violence happened following Bilal, a fraternity activist, was admitted to the hospital. The arrest of the KSU and fraternity workers who are undergoing treatment in the case of stabbing of SFI worker Nasser and the arrest of the accused in the case of assault on fraternity worker Bilal will be held soon.

In the wake of the conflict, Maharaja’s College has been closed indefinitely.
