ESPN Brasil opened a studio in São Paulo, promising to have cutting-edge resources to bring more technological and customizable sports coverage.

The space, located in the old TV Tupi studios, where the country’s first soap operas were recorded, unites the Unreal technology, well known in the gaming world, and a great chroma-key background, allowing the creation of additional graphics and images, according to the NaTelinha portal. The news was highlighted on Sunday, on the Pelas Quadras program, regarding the events of the Australia Open tennis tournament.

The difference lies in the ability to adapt the space for each attraction, allowing presenters to interact with videos, images and graphics produced in real time.

Four graphics servers were used to quickly display screens, statistics and stripes during live broadcasts. The studio also has three 4K robotic cameras and an auxiliary camera.

With two large studios already in operation, the addition of this third space offers its own identity for the coverage of sporting events, especially for sports such as tennis and American sports.
