The start-up Omni, winner of the Lépine competition in 2021, offers a travel system combining an electric scooter and a wheelchair.
Thanks to the attachment developed by Omni, it is possible to motorize a wheelchair by clipping it to a classic electric scooter. A simple, affordable and inclusive solution to give everyone the freedom to travel on time or very few lines of the Ile-de-France rail network are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
After having responded to a call for innovative projects for mobility launched in 2019 by Paris&Co (the economic development agency of the city and Paris and the metropolis), the company will support the city during the Olympic and Paralympic Games to facilitate movement of visitors and athletes.
