Esteban Moctezuma confirms positive for COVID-19 during AMLO’s visit to Washington

the ambassador of Mexico in USA, Esteban Moctezumaconfirmed this Monday that he tested positive for COVID-19.

Through his Twitter account, the diplomat made it clear that he will work for the visit from President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to Washington a success.

President López Obrador landed in Washington DC at 2:54 p.m. local time, accompanied by his wife, the writer Beatriz Gutiérrez Müller.

On Tuesday, López Obrador will have breakfast with Vice President Kamala Harris before his bilateral meeting with President Biden.
